How many dogs can you walk at once?

We walk no more then six dogs at one time. We keep dogs within their know friendships groups due to every dog reacting differently to change. If there is more then one dog in the household these will be walked together. 

My pet needs to go to the vet. Can you take them?

If a Animal in our care is in need we will take them to their registered vets for a health care check and treatment if required. 

If an animal has a routine check up or an appointment booked we can take the pet to the vets on your behalf but we have no responsibility in decisions being made or paying outstanding balance

Do you have experience with rare or exotic pets?

Philippa holds a level 3 Diploma in Animal Management studied at Plumpton College. With this qualification she has worked with Rodents, Birds, Small Mammals, Insects, Amphibians, Reptiles and Farm Animal such as Chickens, Alpacas, Goats and Poultry. 

How do we know the care has been given to the animal?

We are happy to provide videos and photos of our time with your pet and happy to provide feedback on request.

Does vaccinations need to be kept up to date with animals?

All pets that we look after at Animal Ark must be up to date with their vaccinations, this includes flea treatment and worming.

Are dogs walked on or off lead?

There are a number of things we look at before letting a dog of the lead this includes behaviour, body language relationship with dog walker, as well are their recall skills. We are privileged to have access to a secure field for our group walks.

Are you insured ?

Yes, were insured by Pet business insurance. They provide us cover with regards to public liability, keys and accidents and injuries to animals.

 

Services that we are covered for are Dog Walking, Pet Minding, Pet Sitting, Pet Taxi and Dog Chaperone.
