Stimulating Your Dogs Senses
We ensure that your dog will have more than enough time outside. It will be hard to stop their tails from wagging with all the fun they’ll be having.
Outdoor activities not only provide an opportunity for exercise, but also help to curb bad habits by giving dogs a chance to release excess energy and socialise with others. We like to mentally tire dogs out so going to a secure field and playing is something we love doing.
All group walks now go out to a private 4 acre fenced off field to provide security and peace of mind to our clients.

Group Walks
Dogs are a social animal so we recommend dogs being walked as a group not only does this allow them to socialise with others but is a great form of exercise, in a safe and controlled environment. This stimulates their natural urges and creates a happier companion.
Group walks are currently available Monday to Thursday through out the week, with a set limit of six dogs per a group. Dogs are grouped based on their temperaments and personalities, which aids in them being happy and engaging with one another. Walks last 50 minutes with 10 minutes to clean down and for loading and unloading.
All group walks are untaken in a private field this is to increase security for the dogs and allowing them more time to be off lead socialising with others. It is a peaceful and calming environment, with lots of different sounds, smells, creatures and textures for them to explore.
We like to vary the things we do when exercising the dogs, some of the things we get up to are, basic social skills and training. We love having fun and playing games not only does this mentally works your dog but is a vital element to a dogs health.

Solo Walks
Does your pet need more personalised attention? Do they have trouble getting along with others? We are happy to work with Anxious animals including dogs. Walking them individually providing them with 1-1 attention.

Puppy Walks
Do you have a puppy that you would like to be walked, allowing to socialise with other dogs.

We are able to allow puppies out in our groups as soon as they are full vaccinated. However we advise no dog younger then four months to attend due to their joints and bones still developing.
​
We of course will give them some time to rest and provide fuss and cuddles so they are not continually running around the field for a full session.

Futher Information
We can care for all dogs but we ask that you inform us of any challenging behaviours that your dog shows, so we can be alert and ready.

A number of forms will be sent to you after you have contacted us. Allowing you to provide information before our consultation. The consultation is provided free of charge, and is a perfect time to get to know you and your dog, so that we can provide them with the best individual care. This is also a great opportunity for you to find out more about us, and see our qualifications and insurance certificates.

We welcome Adhoc clients here at Animal Ark, however our weekly clients take priority with our spaces and so we cant guarantee the days you require will always be available.
​
We work on a week to week basic to allow for planning - meaning you can book up until Friday the week before, but allow for you to book more in advance if you know when you require care.
​
Our weekly clients are guaranteed a space in the same group on a weekly basics. Any slots you don't require will be charged at a reduced rate to hold the space for future weeks. Provided you have given us 48 hours notice.

All pooches are hosed/towel dried off at the end of their walk to get rid of those muddy paws!
​
In the event of any dog becoming unwell we will transport to your stated vet or a local emergency vet. We will not be liable for any of the cost, however we are happy to pay on your behalf and you will be invoiced for this.

We ask that your dogs vaccinations are kept up to date as well as renewing their flea and worm treatments.
​
All dogs must have a dog tag on as this is a legal requirement
​
In the hotter months we will not be walking dogs in the heat, however we can walk them in the evenings or replace their walk with water play and games within your homes / gardens.
​
If you have any special requirements we are more than willing to accommodate your requests as much as we can. We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw services if we believe we cannot safely work with your dog.
